About Kate Willært

Kate Willært is a graduate of the Minneapolis College Of Art And Design, where she majored in Graphic Design, also taking as many Comic Art and Drawing classes on the side as she could fit in. Considering herself a "Jill Of All Trades," she's never been satisfied limiting herself to working in only a single type of art. She's skilled in drawing, painting, comic art, digital coloring, graphic design, web design, photography, and photomanipulation.

Since first learning to hold a pencil, Kate has been continually fascinated with the idea of telling stories with images. This has resulted in a strong interest in graphic novels, film, and any other form of entertainment where both art and storytelling are involved, particularly with an eye towards design and composition. When not writing about herself in the third person, she can be found devouring rock music, movies and graphic novels, blogging, and even drawing occasionally.
